MW4 DMZ / FIELD NOTES

MW4 DMZ level unlocks: every reward from level 1 to 70

DMZ early access is live today, and DMZ has its own progression track: 70 levels, separate from the 1 to 55 multiplayer ladder. Every level hands out something for your FOB: a 3D Printer recipe, a station upgrade, crafting ingredients, an operator skin or a ready-made kit. The full table below was posted by COD Warfare (@CODWarfareForum) on X on 20 October. We transcribed all three images into text so you can search it, and checked the key milestones against CODMunity's FOB guide from 9 October: 3D Printer at level 2, Gunsmith at level 10, Dog Tag Case at level 20. All three match.

Verify these notes against your current build before you rely on them.

Full table: levels 1 to 70

Notes on the table: the level 8 Restock Kit row has no type in the source image, so we left it as "Consumable". Levels 40 and 54 are listed only as a generic "Station Upgrade" and "Epic Consumable". The source spells the level 70 kit "Advanced Sere Kit"; SERE stands for Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape.

What to chase first

Get to level 2 in your first raid or two. Until the 3D Printer is open, every vest and backpack you lose costs cash. From level 2 you can print 1-Plate and 2-Plate vests, both backpack sizes, bandages and medkits from ingredients you haul out. Levels 4 to 12 build the printer out. Tacticals (4), Lethals (7) and Field Upgrades (12) each open a new printer category, and each comes with starter recipes. By level 12 you can print smokes, frags, an Ammo Box and a Spotter Scope. Level 10 changes how you lose guns. The Gunsmith sells weapons for any Weapon Manual you own and modifies them with the attachments you've unlocked. Losing a build stops being a full reset once it's open. Level 20 makes PvP pay. The Dog Tag Case stores the enemy operator tags you extract, and you expand it through 3D Printer Upgrades. Pair it with the bounty payout boosts at 30, 50 and 70 and hunting other squads becomes a progression path of its own. Read the free kits for their keys. The Explosives (16) and Trap (42) kits each include a Gun Store Weapons Locker Key. The Recon kit at 19 includes a Police Station Key, and the one at 46 includes a Black Market Weapons Locker Key. Those keys open loot rooms, so check where they lead before you deploy. Revive gear arrives late. The Self-Revive Kit recipe lands at 48, the Revive Pistol at 64 and the Defibrillator at 67. Until then you'll be relying on what you loot in raid and on Triage Kits.

Where Wing Mait fits

Wing Mait reads your screen and calls out what it sees, so you don't have to look away from the fight. DMZ support is in development. From today we're studying the early access HUD: compass location names, threat level, the radiation timer and exfil prompts. The level table above is the kind of thing a squadmate should know without you alt-tabbing to a wiki. Wing Mait doesn't read game memory, inject anything or send inputs to the game.

Source briefing

The progression table comes from COD Warfare (@CODWarfareForum), posted on X on 20 October 2026 as three images titled "DMZ Progression Table". We transcribed it to text and did not reproduce the images. Milestones cross-checked against CODMunity's DMZ news and FOB guide (9 October 2026).
