MW4 DMZ / FIELD NOTES
MW4 DMZ solo lieutenant hunts: win the fight, then get the dog tag out
A lieutenant hunt can deliver a useful weapon and a bounty, but the dangerous part continues after the boss falls. TheSpazo's solo run gives a practical order for approaching the target, using nearby reconnaissance and getting a marked operator to extraction.

Choose a hunt you can also leave
Use a Lieutenant Hunt tower to locate a target, then think through extraction before starting the fight. At 2:10 TheSpazo stresses the escape route. He also says this is not an easy beginner method. A one-plate attempt may be possible in his experience, but it gives little room for mistakes. Treat equipment, nearby cover and the return journey as part of the same decision.
Use the nearby UAV before entering
At 3:18 he activates a nearby UAV tower before pushing the lieutenant. That gives him information about the surrounding area. At 4:59 he recommends waiting or avoiding the fight if other operators are close. Shooting at a boss can bring those players toward you. A convenient tower in this run does not mean every target will have one beside it.
Clear the defenders and isolate the boss
The fortress is crowded with AI and the first entrances he tries are locked. Find an actual way in without committing blindly. At 6:15 his advice is to reduce the surrounding AI and separate the lieutenant from them. Reposition to reload and restore armour rather than trying to trade every incoming shot. The lieutenant can hit hard enough to punish a rushed push.
Take an angle, then take the useful loot
Around 6:54 he calls out the advantage of getting above the target. Use available height and cover; the video does not establish an invulnerable position. After the kill, the commentary names an epic ISO Nightshade at 7:43. He also recommends checking enemy weapons for useful attachments. These are the finds in his run, not a fixed drop table for every lieutenant.
Once the tag is yours, move
At 7:50 he says he is marked and starts toward extraction. He replenishes supplies and uses a vehicle for the longer transfer. Near the exfil he gets inside cover and waits for the helicopter rather than standing outside fighting every AI. Keep watching approaches: defeating the lieutenant does not stop another operator taking the reward from you.
Separate the bounty from the haul
At 1:13 and 12:12 TheSpazo reports 25,000 for an extracted dog tag. He describes the run's broader return as over 40,000. That is his account, not a measured net profit. Banked cash, backpack or loadout value, and valuables later sold are different quantities. The uncertain number in the automatic results-screen transcription is not reliable enough to publish as a precise breakdown.
What we're unsure of
The extracted-tag payout needs checking against your current build and progression. We have not established average completion time, failure rate or profit after losses. The title's every-game wording is not a guarantee, and the creator acknowledges solo deaths. This report does not provide exact target coordinates or confirm how accurately a tag marker tracks its carrier.
Why this matters for Wing Mait
A hunt chains target information, nearby threats, armour, ammunition, a carried tag and the exfil timer. Clear reminders could help a player keep track of that sequence. Wing Mait's DMZ support is still in development; these are field notes, not evidence of live DMZ calls in the app. Source: TheSpazo's video auto-captions, reviewed silently on 22 October 2026.
