The FOB decoy experiment
Trophy Dads turns a deliberately abandoned FOB into bait. This is a dated community experiment, not a replacement for a defended team spawn.

Understand the cost of abandoning a base
The video places a conspicuous FOB in the active zone with radios and an in-game IED, then leaves to observe what happens. Discuss the plan with your squad: a useful live FOB may matter more than bait, and an enemy can gain the position before you react.
Do not assume explosives chain
In the captured September footage, triggering one explosive did not detonate every explosive stacked nearby, and one phone controlled one IED. These are source observations. Test the interaction in the current game rather than budgeting a chain reaction or extrapolating the setup outside WARDOGS.
Capture signals need confirmation
The creator watches for the FOB disappearing from the friendly minimap, then checks or acts on the captured position. Treat a changed icon as a cue to investigate, not proof that enemies are standing in a particular spot. The video's XP outcome is an example, not a repeatable earnings promise.
