Gold bars and market timing
SwoleBenji's October 5 guide separates earning cash from choosing when to convert it into gold bars. His price cycle is his own reading of launch-month data, not a published developer schedule.

Match the farming method to your risk
SwoleBenji sorts cash methods by effort. His 50k methods are low-engagement: AFK logistics runs in a Ural or Lakota, and wall building at a FOB. His 100k per match methods need attention: spotting with binoculars, or playing medic in a hot zone with free kits and resurrection gear. His 200k-plus methods are drill building, anti-air towers, mortar or artillery play, partisan FOB raiding and FOB medic, and each can end in a death or a destroyed investment. These are one creator's rough early-October figures, so compare them with the risk ladder in the money farming guide and test the payout yourself. If you want a cheap way to start each life, the budget pistol loadouts guide covers that side.
Skip the shortcuts that cost more than they pay
SwoleBenji warns against crate selling: screenshots show large totals, but one opponent can destroy a stack of crates cheaply, and he says the method is being patched. He also lists team helicopter crashes, real money trading and win trading as rule-breaking routes that end in account resets; his example prices real money trading at about $10 per 1 million in-game cash. He cautions that barbed wire building can be turned against the builder, and that a teammate may take your vehicle. He calls looting teammates' kit controversial but useful; agree it with your squad first and check the current rules.
Save for about 21 days, then watch the weekend price
From price history between launch on 10 September and 5 October, SwoleBenji describes a cycle of roughly 21 days: a casual cash grind, a kit-unlock spending phase, a hoarding plateau, then mass conversion into bars. His rule is to save through the first 21 days of a season and buy on day 22 or 23, ideally when that lands on a Saturday or Sunday, which he reads as flat-price days. He suspects the developers adjust the price by hand on other days. That is an inference from one season of observation, and a pricing change could break it. Check the current price, and never spend cash you need for kit you rely on.
Creator speculation for later seasons, and the free-helicopter farm
Labelled as speculation: SwoleBenji would mass buy bars about two weeks before reset. He notes that gold currently buys cosmetics only, and that the MH6 helicopter skin is the one he thinks affects play, because opponents assume a skilled pilot is inside. He treats gold gaining value through missions, passive levelling or player trading as a possibility, not an announced feature. He saves one farm for last because he expects a nerf: flying a rocket helicopter that a teammate has left unlocked or unused. Ask before you take a seat, learn the controls first and do not budget around a method that may change.
