MW4 DMZ / FIELD NOTES
MW4 DMZ: the Doctor, his room key and a Tempered Vest recipe
SiNisterFPS found a Tempered Armor Vest recipe after killing the Doctor and opening a locked upstairs room. The useful part is the chain: boss, key, room, recipe, extraction. The dog tag alone does not complete that chain. This report follows his commentary and auto-caption transcript; the drop has not been independently reproduced.

The route in one line
Kill the Doctor, search for his key, read its destination, open the matching upper-floor room, collect the recipe and extract. At 1:30, SiNisterFPS identifies the Doctor as the boss in a medical area. His narration does not establish an exact building pin, so use the key description rather than an invented map coordinate.
Start with the printer unlocked
At 0:08, the creator says the 3D printer opens at DMZ level 2. His first looting and extraction run was enough to reach that level without completing its Dynamic Ops mission. That is his progression example, not a promise that every first raid reaches the same milestone.
Pick up the key as well as the tag
After the fight, the game announces a lieutenant dog tag. At 8:24, SiNisterFPS goes back to find the separate key. The game prompt links the tag to boss-board progress; SiNisterFPS understands it to also carry a bounty reward. The key is what gets him into the reward room. Check both items before leaving the body.
Read the destination and work upstairs
At 9:18, he reads the destination as a converted conference room in the upper-floor offices. He searches several floors before finding the correct door. At 11:16 he unlocks the room, then checks that the key has disappeared from his inventory. Follow the matching description and interaction prompt; this is not evidence that every locked upstairs door is correct.
Take the recipe and plan your exit
At 11:36, he identifies the Tempered Armor Vest 3D-printer recipe. Looting a finished vest and obtaining its printing recipe are different rewards. He then prioritizes leaving, considering a UAV and a vehicle on the way to extraction. Nearby players and a late hunt warning remain part of the risk.
Confirm the unlock back at the FOB
At 17:17, after the successful extraction, the creator checks the printer and reports the Tempered Vest unlocked. He names Ballistic Fabric, Rigid Synthetics and Military Composites as materials still needed. The transcript does not give a reliable complete quantity list. Check the recipe panel in your current build before farming ingredients.
What we're unsure of
SiNisterFPS says both near the start and after extraction that he does not know whether the Doctor's room always gives this recipe. One successful run establishes a possible route, not a drop rate. We have not verified the key's current spawn rules, door position, recipe quantities or whether this sequence changes between builds.
Why this matters for Wing Mait
The useful information is readable on screen: the key destination, room prompt, recipe card and extraction warning. Those are relevant targets for a future DMZ accessibility assistant. Wing Mait support for MW4 DMZ is in development; this report does not claim that the released app currently recognizes or calls these events.
