MW4 DMZ / FIELD NOTES
MW4 DMZ solo loot route: compounds, a train and the Re-Education Center
IceManIsaac Academy calls this a solo loot route with a bit of everything: a chain of military compounds, a loot-dense train, the Re-Education Center for a propaganda store room, some cutthroat PvP and a truce at the end. His 27 minute video is embedded just below, so please watch it. This page is the organised companion: the order he works in, what he says at each stop, the PvP lessons, and where his account agrees or disagrees with our other pages. Everything is his and we have not tested it. His video names only some of the places, so we have not pinned the route on our map.

The short version
In a video posted on 5 November 2026, IceManIsaac Academy runs a solo loot route that chains military compounds, takes in a train, and ends at the Re-Education Center for the Underground Propaganda Store Room. He says every compound holds a guaranteed safe, that bags and lockers pay too, and that this beats his key runs for consistency. The extraction summary reads 11,800 banked cash and a 90,900 backpack value, which he calls a 100k raid, with two kills along the way. The rest of this page sets out his order, his PvP lessons and where he agrees or clashes with our other pages. None of it is tested by us.

His method, and his doubts
He says he has been trying different loot methods and this time chains as many compounds as he can. He calls it a more popular method, and says it looks better than his key runs, which he describes as either insane loot or absolute garbage. He started with a green gun and says it was not the best. He wonders whether DMZ has a Marathon-style mechanic where loot improves the longer you stay in the raid, and says Dynamic Ops has a deliberate multiplier so that consecutive ops give rarer loot. Clearing a compound looks random to him, and he says he still wants to test it. We have not tested any of this.
The run, step by step
Times are video times. The right-hand column is what he says, or what we read from the HUD, item cards and prompts on screen. His video names only some of the places, so the stops below are in his order and not pinned.
| Time | Stop | What he says or what we read |
|---|---|---|
| 0:59-3:58 | The compound chain begins. | He explains the method. The HUD reads Compound Charlie from 1:30 to 3:00, with a 2-plate Armor Vest from a locker at 2:00. |
| 4:47-5:57 | Compound Alpha. | The HUD reads Compound Alpha from 5:00; a locker gives a Defibrillator field upgrade. A voice says safes have been underwhelming. |
| 5:57-8:25 | A fight near the compounds. | His PvP lesson: the other player sprinted around an unfinished base. He finishes a downed player. |
| 8:25-11:10 | The train. | He says to get there early. The HUD reads South Korean Wilderness at 9:30. A supply crate shows Regional Combat Notes. |
| 11:10-13:34 | A fight by the train. | He loots a Dreadnought from a player, clears bots near proximity mines and sees the body vanish. |
| 13:34 | The Militia Arms Depot key. | He reads the item card aloud, with the HUD on Imjin Farmland. |
| 13:59-15:56 | Vultures and a SAM site. | He reads recent PvP from both. The HUD reads Hajin River at 14:00 and Deadtown at 14:30. |
| 15:56-22:18 | The Re-Education Center. | A desk key, the Underground Propaganda Store Room, the two sides and a keypad door upstairs. |
| 22:18-26:00 | The village, a truce, and extraction. | He skips the black market in the basement, accepts a truce by holding fire, and extracts. |
The compound safes
His central claim is that inside each military compound is a guaranteed safe, which he says he had not known, and that bags and lockers have also given him good loot. In the footage we read, the HUD names Compound Charlie and Compound Alpha, and we do not name the others. This meets three of our own pages. Our solo compound loot farm guide records an earlier account that found no safe at Compound Bravo, which MrDalekJD later corrected in the bank vaults guide. In this same video a voice says safes have been underwhelming and asks whether finishing a compound is worth it. We show all three and do not pick between them.

The train
He says trains often have nice loot with many spawns if you reach them early in the raid, that they are often picked clean if you do not, and that more players rotate to them as the game goes on. He says the blue duffels there have the most absurd loot in the game and that he and his friends have all found their red keys in them. His advice is to be fast and paranoid at once: check the lanes, because you can be rolled up at any point. The game prompts at that stage mention a UAV tower in the area and an approaching SAM site. All of this is his account, and we have not tested it.
Reading the PvP
He teaches four readings. Vultures in the air mean PvP has happened, and a vulture-circled body is a dead player, which he found picked clean. An active enemy SAM site, with the prompt that close air is unavailable, he reads as a player being nearby, which is his inference. A game voice line warns that every kill leaves a body trail and too many bodies bring a third party. And a player who sprinted around a base left unfinished lost the fight, which is his lesson: if you get caught sprinting, it is game over. He adds that a three-plate vest helps. After one fight he says that a player had Possum and was not getting up, which we read as the Possum trait, and he loots a Dreadnought from a player.

Keys on the way
At 13:34 he reads the Militia Arms Depot key. It is a Rare key, and the card says it unlocks the armory on the lower floor of the Gangbyeon Apartment B building of the compound within Hajin River Heights. We have added that to the key on our keys layer, in Compound Echo. He carries a purple gun and a gold gun at that point and does not say where the key came from. Later he finds the Underground Propaganda key, and the summary reads three keys. He lists blue, blue and purple keys at the end. In the village he points to a basement black market with weapon caches, a blue key or similar, and calls these free keys in the middle of a loot route. He skips it because radiation is spreading.

The Re-Education Center and the propaganda room
The HUD reads Re-Education Center, threat Medium, at 16:00. He says last time a propaganda room key spawned at random, so he checks every desk, and that rooms in some buildings have almost guaranteed spawns, as a police station does for green armory keys. He finds the Underground Propaganda key at about 16:43, then another key and a Smelling Salts recipe, which he calls one of the best things he could get and would craft before every raid. In the propaganda room you pick one of two sides, and pulling one jams the other. He takes the safe side: a locker, a 2-plate ballistic vest and a W.M.D. Manifest he prices at 5,000. At 20:15 he says keys are usually on the second story, and finds a keypad door with a four-digit code and no notes.
The truce
At about 23:36 a prompt reads that there is a search request in the area and to mark the flag to accept. He did not know how to accept the truce, tried pinging, and held his fire instead. When the other player arrived he apologised, said he had seen him on the UAV, and the two chatted. He says solos have to stick together. Our casual mode guide tells players to drop the white flag. Here the prompt asks the other side to mark a flag, and he could not work out how. We show both and have not tested the mechanic.
The haul, and where the sources disagree
His summary: compounds, then compounds, then the train, then the Re-Education Center and its store room, where he says a key spawns basically guaranteed. He calls it more risky, with many players passing through and two kills for him, and calls the train probably one of the most loot dense areas. He lists blue, blue and purple keys, a Dreadnought, four or five purple vests, a bag, a purple gun and purple mats.
| His claim | Our other page | How we show it |
|---|---|---|
| A guaranteed safe in every compound. | The solo compound loot farm guide records a Compound Bravo account with no safe. | Both are shown; neither is tested by us. |
| Room keys have almost guaranteed spawns; the store room key is basically guaranteed. | Our Re-Education Center guide has his earlier video, and a farming guide says Deadtown spawns are not guaranteed. | He also says the key spawned at random last time; both shown. |
| Vultures mean PvP has happened. | Our casual mode guide says vultures circling mean a dead operator nearby. | They agree. The SAM site reading is his own inference. |
| He could not work out how to accept a truce. | Our casual mode guide says drop the white flag. | Both shown; the mechanic is untested by us. |
| Dynamic Ops has a loot multiplier; compounds look random. | No page of ours covers it. | His claim, untested. |

On the map, and what we checked
We have not added a route for this video. The HUD names only Compound Charlie, Compound Alpha, Imjin Farmland, Deadtown and the Re-Education Center in the parts we read, and we have not pinned any compound or the train. The Re-Education Center part of the run is already on our map in the earlier route for his first video, which we link, and the Militia Arms Depot door is on the keys layer. We have not played this route. Every claim above is his. The item names and numbers are our reading of the HUD, item cards and prompts. The 28 and 29 October notes predate his video, and we have read no later notes.

Questions people ask
Quick answers about the solo compound to train route, from IceManIsaac Academy's video.
What is the route?
Military compounds one after another, then a train, then the Re-Education Center for the Underground Propaganda Store Room, as he plays it.
Is there really a safe in every compound?
He says so. Our other pages disagree on Compound Bravo and a voice in his video calls safes underwhelming.
What does the Militia Arms Depot key open?
The card he reads says the armory on the lower floor of the Gangbyeon Apartment B building in the compound within Hajin River Heights.
How do you accept a truce?
He could not work it out on camera. Our casual mode guide says drop the white flag.
Is the route on the map?
Not as a new route. We link the Re-Education Center route and the keys layer.
Has it been patched?
We do not know. His video came after the 28 and 29 October notes and we have read no later notes.
